　公明党政調会長である石井啓一前衆議院議員（茨城県本部代表）は、今般の衆議院選挙において、茨城県農業政治連盟の推薦を得ました。
　これは、農協最大の懸案であるＴＰＰに対する石井啓一のぶれない姿勢への評価と期待であると思われます。
　私も、土浦市田村のレンコン農家の長男であり、自身の名前の「男」は、「田んぼの力」と信じていますから、ＴＰＰは大切な政治課題です。日本の農業を守るとは、農耕民族の根幹である「農の文化」「農という歴史」「耕す文明」を守ることです。私のプライトは、農家出身ということです。
　今日は、その農家の組織である農協を訪問させていただきました。ＪＡ土浦、ＪＡやさと、ＪＡひたち野、ＪＡ茨城かすみ、ＪＡ稲敷、ＪＡ龍ヶ崎、ＪＡ岩井と廻り、組合長さん他の役職ある方と懇談して参りました。
　皆さんがＴＰＰを通じて、政治に期待するところ大であると切実に感じます。対外交渉は、単一の農協のレベルではなく、農協は自らのために政治力推進を図ろうとしていることに理解できます。
　さて、忙中閑あり、土浦駅東西の冬のイルミネーションを短時間ですが味わってきました。残念ながら、金曜日なのに人出が少ないように感じます。不景気な夜を感じながら、寒さに煌めく光を楽しみました。
