　平成２８年度土浦市障害児（者）育成会講演会「欄干のない橋を渡る～津軽三味線とともに～」が石岡市出身で生まれながら資力がなく津軽三味線全国大会３連覇と大活躍の踊正太郎（よう　しょうたろう）さんの講演がありました。
　踊さんは、昨年、塙保己一奨励賞を受賞するなど障害者として先駆的な生き方を示されています。３歳で民謡、１６歳で津軽三味線全国大会初出場６位デビュー、２０際で全国大会３連覇の偉業を成し遂げました。
　今日の講演は、欄干のない（手すりのない）橋を渡るのは怖い、健常者であっても怖い。私たちのの認識の８０％は視覚から来ているおり、先天的な視力障害と、中途失明による視力障害、また、視力障害をすべて同じに思われることは少し違っていると話されました。
　更に、障害は不幸ではないけれど不便である事を話され、押しボタン式の電灯スイッチ、スマホ・タブレットなどのタッチパネル、自動販売機はクジ引きのよう、トイレは入口まで誘導してくれるが中では、どこにトイレ設備があり、どのような操作が必要か分からないなど具体的な不便さを述べられました。
　更に、自ら鉄道のホームから転落した経験を述べて、助けられた後すぐさま列車が通過する恐怖は忘れられないとしました。
　その上で、健常者の皆さまには、私たちに声掛けする場合、後ろから肩に手を当ててやさしく声かけて欲しいと、健常者と障害者が同じ安心感に立って幸福の人生を歩みたいと講演されました。
