【卒業式】師弟こそ最高の教育環境、焦らず弛まず明日の国づくりに期待大きい卒業式。

　３月１日、茨城県立高校卒業式。
　次代を担う大切な宝の若武者の旅たちを拝見して参りました。
　私は、初めて地元土浦第一高等学校卒業証書授与式に参列しました。
　ご存知の通り、私は同校の卒業生ではありませんが、子ども達がお世話になった高校であり、残念ながら子ども達の卒業式には出席しておりませんでしたので、約１０年遅れの卒業式参列の思いをもって、私の子ども達の卒業式とダブらせて心沸き立つような心で座っていました。
　今回の卒業生は、全日制普通科　男子１９７名、女子１２０名。卒業の喜びを３年刊着慣れた制服に包みながら涼やかな眼差しです。
　立派な卒業式でした。
　白眉とも言える卒業生代表答辞は、この３年間を振り返りながらも、東日本大震災に学び、自分たちの将来の役割を十分に自覚した決意がありました。
　更に、恩師である先生たちへの鋭い指摘ある納得のコメントは学校教育の成功の形の一つがあるなと感じさせられました。そこには、卒業生の愛情がありました。
　更に、土浦一高の伝統と誇りを感じさせるリーターシップへの自覚は、将来の土浦のみならず茨城や日本を動かす力になることを予感させました。卒業生の活躍も歴史に刻印されて引き継がれていくものだと思います。
　来賓あいさつは、「広く世界に飛び出せ。就職は日本では大変だ。世界に目を向けよ」との企業経営トップの叫びのようでした。
　学年主任の先生は、個と集団について、団結や集団の力の所在と発揮について個の成長と個性が大切なことを述べ、更に、時間について過去と現在・未来について過去を振り返らず、将来を見据えて、今を大切にすることこそが賢人の生き方であると示唆深いお話をされました。
　若さと優秀な頭脳を持ち、鍛えられた身体の卒業生。将来の希望がそこにありました。この若者に将来を託したいと思うばかりです。
